The phone is one of the most useful tools in GTA 6. Rockstar Games revealed several new apps for Jason and Lucia’s phones in its Game Informer cover story. Here is what each one does.
Confirmed GTA 6 phone apps
WAiNK: scan a car before you steal it
WAiNK scans a vehicle and shows its security, trackers, registration cost and fence value. Some cars need special tools to steal, so check them first. Combine it with our Heat system guide to avoid trouble.
RydeMe: ride-share fast travel
RydeMe is a ride-share app that works as fast travel across Leonida, with in-ride chat when you share the car. Handy on a map that is about twice the size of GTA 5’s.
Snapmatic: look, but do not post
Snapmatic returns. Jason and Lucia can view posts, but they cannot post themselves because they are wanted criminals.
Map
The in-game map is updated to look like satellite imagery. Our own interactive GTA 6 map will track every location at launch.
Radio
Radio stations return with new licensed songs and ads.
Calls and texts
Calling and texting each other builds Jason and Lucia’s relationship, see how the relationship works.
FAQ
Can you use the internet on the GTA 6 phone?
Rockstar has not detailed an in-game browser yet. We will add every app we find at launch.
Is there a cheat code app?
In GTA 5 you could enter cheats by dialing numbers on the phone. Whether GTA 6 does the same is unknown, see GTA 6 cheats.
