What time does GTA 6 unlock?
Rockstar has not announced an official unlock time yet. Console store listings point to midnight local time on November 19. In the US that would mean 12:00 AM Eastern, which is 9:00 PM Pacific on November 18. We will update this page as soon as Rockstar confirms the time.
When can you preload GTA 6?
Digital preloading starts at midnight local time on November 12, 2026, one week before launch. Turn on automatic downloads on your console so the game is ready the moment it unlocks. The download size has not been confirmed yet.
Has GTA 6 been delayed?
The current date of November 19, 2026 follows earlier delays. Take-Two Interactive confirmed the date again in its latest earnings report. The next update from Take-Two is due with its quarterly results on November 9.
