The GTA 6 map is about twice the size of GTA 5’s. Rockstar’s Aaron Garbut told Game Informer that Leonida is about twice the size of the GTA 5 map, with many more interiors you can enter. It is the biggest map in Grand Theft Auto history.

Is GTA 6 set in Florida?
Leonida is Rockstar’s fictional version of Florida, and Vice City is its take on Miami. Rockstar says it picks real places only when they serve the game.
Can you leave Leonida?
Mount Kalaga sits on the border with the state of Gloriana. Rockstar has not said whether you can travel there.
