GTA 6 radio stations are finally taking shape: Rockstar Games revealed the first six Grand Theft Auto VI stations on October 8, 2026, in a post on the Rockstar Newswire.
The reveal named real-world artist hosts and added audio previews for each station to the Music page on the official GTA VI website. GTA 6 launches November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The first batch already covers a lot of ground. You get Latin, country, African music, classic metal, pop and Southern rap, and these six are only the stations announced so far.
Which radio stations are in GTA 6?
Rockstar has revealed six GTA 6 radio stations so far: Cocoteo FM, Back Country Radio, AfroBank FM, The Chamber 106.6, Flash FM and Dirty South Classics. These are the first six stations, not a confirmed final list.
The early lineup, also covered in Paste Magazine’s breakdown of the six GTA VI radio stations, spans a wide spread of sounds.
| Station | Genre focus |
|---|---|
| Cocoteo FM | Modern Latin: bachata, merengue, dembow and reggaeton |
| Back Country Radio | Country |
| AfroBank FM | African music |
| The Chamber 106.6 | Classic metal |
| Flash FM | Pop |
| Dirty South Classics | Southern rap and hip-hop |
Flash FM is the immediate nostalgia hit for longtime Vice City fans. Cocoteo FM, Dirty South Classics and AfroBank FM look just as important to the game’s identity.
Who hosts the GTA 6 radio stations?
Real artists voice the DJs across the GTA 6 radio stations. Rockstar has confirmed Bad Bunny as El Martillo with La Gata, played by RaiNao, on Cocoteo FM, while Robyn and Alex Consani co-host Flash FM.
Reporting from Vice also names Lana Del Rey, Morgan Wallen, Burna Boy, Slayer’s Kerry King and Tom Araya, and Trick Daddy and Trina among the hosts. We have not confirmed which station each of those artists fronts, so we are not guessing the pairings.
That still tells you plenty. This is not a background jukebox full of faceless DJs. GTA radio works best when the host is part of the joke, part of the city, or both, and this first batch is stacked with voices players already know.
Which songs are confirmed on the GTA 6 radio so far?
Rockstar’s previews include three songs per station, making 18 previewed tracks in total. These are previews, not the full playlists, so do not treat them as the complete song list yet.
Confirmed examples include Bad Bunny’s “EoO,” Axel Rulay’s “Si Es Trucho Es Trucho (Remix)” and Romeo Santos’ “Canalla” on Cocoteo FM. Flash FM’s preview includes Charli xcx’s “Good Ones,” MGMT’s “Electric Feel” and Zara Larsson & PinkPantheress’ “Midnight Sun (Girls Trip).”
Dirty South Classics includes David Banner’s “Like A Pimp” and JT Money’s “Who Dat” in the material reported so far. The official Music page is the safest place to hear the confirmed previews.
Can you listen to GTA 6 radio and podcasts on foot?
Yes, and it is a series first. Radio and on-demand podcasts can be played in vehicles or on foot, using in-game headphones and earbuds connected to the characters’ smartphones.
In past GTA games, radio mostly belonged to the car. Here, audio is tied to the phone instead, which could change how it fits into missions and downtime.
If you want the broader breakdown of the phone itself, we have a guide to what Jason and Lucia’s phones can do.
How is the radio different from the GTA 6 album and the launch trailer song?
The GTA 6 radio stations are the in-game audio selection. GTA VI: The Album is a separate 34-track release arriving November 19, 2026.
The album is not the radio list, and the radio previews are not the album tracklist. For that release, see our guide to the 34-track GTA VI album.
The launch trailer, released October 15, is separate again, and its song has nothing to do with the station reveal. You can follow that side of the rollout in our page for every GTA 6 trailer so far.
How can you hear the previews now?
Head to the Music page on Rockstar’s official GTA VI site. Each of the six revealed stations has an audio preview there.
Rockstar usually posts news on Thursdays, so more details could follow before launch, but that is only our observation, not a promise. The confirmed fact today is that six stations have been revealed, with previews, hosts and early song selections attached.
What the GTA 6 radio stations mean for players
Our opinion: this looks like a bold, varied lineup, and the star DJs plus podcasts and on-foot listening could change how people play. Long drives, missions and downtime all get a soundtrack you control.
Again, this is our read: the Latin, Southern rap and African music choices fit the setting and characters better than a safer greatest-hits approach would. Cocoteo FM sounds built for heat and nightlife, Dirty South Classics belongs in a car with the windows down, and AfroBank FM gives the map a wider cultural pulse.
The return of Flash FM is also a clean Vice City nod. The mix of old identity and newer habits, especially podcasts and on-foot listening, is what makes this reveal feel fresh.
Remember that these six may not be all of them. We will update this article as Rockstar shares more.
