Will GTA 6 have cheats?
Every main Grand Theft Auto game so far has had cheat codes, so fans expect them, but Rockstar has not confirmed it. Red Dead Redemption 2 also had cheats, unlocked through newspapers in the game. GTA 6 has a new Heat system and weather system, so we are curious whether a wanted-level or weather cheat survives.
How cheats worked in GTA 5
- Button combinations entered during play
- Phone numbers dialed on the in-game phone, see GTA 6 phone apps
- On PC: a command console

Do cheats disable trophies?
In GTA 5, using cheats disabled trophies and achievements until you reloaded a save. If GTA 6 works the same way, save before you use them. We will confirm at launch.
Beware of fake cheat downloads
Websites offering GTA 6 money generators, mod menus or cheat downloads before launch are scams or malware. GTA 6 is console-only at launch, see is GTA 6 coming to PC.
