The music
The trailer debuts Flower in a Hurricane by Justice with Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. More about the game’s music in our GTA 6 soundtrack article.
What it might mean (speculation)
These are interpretations by outlets such as GameSpot, not confirmed by Rockstar:
- Ankle monitor: Lucia may be out on conditions like a curfew or fixed address, which could fit the new Heat system.
- The phone call: her story may start behind bars, with Jason waiting for her release.
- Night-vision scene: possibly a flashback to Jason’s army days, or a later stealth job.
- Goose Key: possibly a Top Gun nod.
- Pink ski masks: possibly a Spring Breakers reference.
PS5 branding, and what about Xbox?
The trailer is branded for PlayStation, but GTA 6 still launches on Xbox Series X|S on the same day. Sony’s marketing deal does not change the release, see GTA 6 on PS5, PS5 Pro and Xbox.
