Rockstar’s pre-order announcement says digital pre-load begins on November 12, 2026. Rockstar has not published an exact clock time. On PlayStation and Xbox, pre-loads usually open around midnight local time or in the morning in Europe, so check your console from November 12 onward.

How to pre-load GTA 6 on PS5
- Pre-order Grand Theft Auto VI digitally on the PlayStation Store, or redeem the code from a physical box.
- Make sure automatic downloads are switched on: Settings, System, Power Saving, Features Available in Rest Mode, then turn on Stay Connected to the Internet.
- From November 12, open the game in your library and choose Download if it did not start on its own.
How to pre-load GTA 6 on Xbox Series X|S
- Pre-order on the Microsoft Store or redeem your code.
- Choose the Sleep power mode under Settings, General, Power options so updates and pre-loads can download in the background.
