GTA 6 cars are finally getting names. Rockstar Games has officially named five vehicles for Grand Theft Auto VI so far, all through the pre-order bonus and the Ultimate Edition it announced in June.
That is a tiny slice of what you will drive in Leonida on November 19, 2026. But it tells you which classics and supercars are coming, and which edition you need to get them on day one.
Which GTA 6 cars has Rockstar confirmed?
Rockstar has named five vehicles in its official pre-order announcement. Four of them come with the Ultimate Edition, and one comes with every early purchase.
| Vehicle | Type | How you get it |
|---|---|---|
| ’55 Vapid Stanier | Classic car, with a garage in Shore Court | Vintage Vice City Pack, every purchase before November 20 |
| ’95 Grotti Cheetah | Supercar | Ultimate Edition |
| Ganado Retro Build | Custom car | Ultimate Edition |
| Shitzu Squalo | Speedboat | Ultimate Edition |
| ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy | Buggy, with a garage | Ultimate Edition |
The Ultimate Edition also adds extra vehicles for Jason’s safehouse and a Classic Car Collection activity. Rockstar has not named every car in those sets.
What is the ’55 Vapid Stanier?
The ’55 Vapid Stanier is a 1950s classic and the car in the Vintage Vice City Pack. You get it with any edition if you buy before November 20, 2026, together with a garage in Shore Court and retro outfits.
See everything in the pack in our GTA 6 pre-order bonus guide.
Which cars come with the Ultimate Edition?
The $99.99 Ultimate Edition includes the ’95 Grotti Cheetah, the Ganado Retro Build, the Shitzu Squalo speedboat and the ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy with its own garage.
On top of the cars, you also get Rideout Customs and Stock 305 as businesses, plus weapons and outfits. Our Ultimate Edition breakdown lists every item and whether the $20 upgrade is worth it.
What other vehicles do the trailers and previews show?
Beyond the named cars, Rockstar’s trailers and the previews show a lot more ways to get around Leonida. These are shown, not named:
- Planes: in the launch trailer, Lucia jumps onto the landing gear of a moving plane.
- Boats: Jason works from a marina, and the Keys and wetlands are built for the water.
- Off-road: Rockstar told Game Informer about ATV trails, mud parks, motocross and demolition derbies.
- Bikes: mountain biking is one of the confirmed activities.
- Ride-share: the RydeMe phone app works like a taxi service for fast travel.
You can see where these activities happen on our interactive GTA 6 map, and every hobby in our GTA 6 activities guide.
Can you customize cars in GTA 6?
Car customization is coming in some form: Rideout Customs is listed as a business in the Ultimate Edition. Rockstar has not explained how tuning works, so we are not guessing at the details.
What this means for you
If you love cars, the Ultimate Edition gets you four named vehicles and two garages on day one. If you only want the story, the Standard Edition still gets you the ’55 Stanier when you buy before November 20.
The full car list will only be known after launch. We will add every vehicle the moment players find them.
